The Mediterranean restaurant with the specialty of the house by Vladimir Grishukov welcomes you on the ground floor of the Domina St. Petersburg hotel.
The name of the restaurant (translated from Italian “waves”) is reflected not only in the cuisine but also in the surrounding—in the building surrounded by the waters of the Moika and Neva rivers, on Bolshaya Morskaya Street. The marine theme is also expressed in the interior details of the renovated restaurant — patterns, decor, color palette — and, of course, in the food presentation.

Located on an elegant and quiet Bolshaya Morskaya Street, reminding of the streets in Milan, ONDE conveys the atmosphere of intimate Italian family restaurants, where people come for renown, delicious cuisine, hospitality, and a calm, pleasant atmosphere.

With all these qualities, our kid-friendly restaurant is favorable for family meals—long, even-tenored dinners in a large company – just like Italians do. It’s also nice to organise remarkable celebrations.

Each dish, created by our chef Vladimir Grishukov at ONDE, has its own individual character.

The cuisine stems from Mediterranean traditions. It is so varied, incorporating everything from Italian classics to chef’s interpretations of modern Mediterranean cuisine. For example, at ONDE, you can try the popular Vitello Tonato or the right Italian pasta. There are no artificially complicated compositions and shapes, but aesthetics, the original taste of the product, and high cuisine according to the standards of the 5-star hotel.

With respect to the local culture, ONDE has preserved the most favorite meals of Russian cuisine, such as homemade dumplings, borscht, and fried potatoes, to please the connoisseurs of the traditional cuisine.

A great dessert list deserves special attention in the restaurant menu, which contains the bestsellers of the Domina Hotel and new specialty desserts inspired by the marine theme. The collection was also supplemented by a conceptual dessert on the Russian menu, “Guriev porridge” with black currant sorbet and bird-cherry flour sponge cake.
