Nove Bar invites you to the Art of Eating gastronomic festival: try the Dostoevsky’s Dream tea ceremony

From June 15 to September 30,  Nove bar, located at the Domina Hotel in St. Petersburg, will participate in the All-Russian gastronomic festival “The Art of Eating”. This year, the project will bring together more than 90 restaurants in 31 Russian cities, from Moscow and Kaliningrad to Vladivostok and Krasnoyarsk. The theme of the season is “Creators”: chefs across the country are inspired by personalities who have shaped the cultural code of their cities.

The festival was organized by Evgeny Reimer and the Milimon Team with the support of the insurance company and Astro-Volga Bank.

In St. Petersburg, Vladimir Grishukov, the chef of the Domina St. Petersburg Hotel, embodied the concept of the festival by creating a unique tea ceremony “Dostoevsky’s Dream”.

This is a gastronomic journey, referring to the image of a great writer, his habits and literary heroes.

The set includes:

· Strong black tea — as a tribute to Dostoevsky’s real taste preferences;
· The Stone cake is a reference to a scene from Crime and Punishment;
· Profiterole with craquelin, dacoise with berries (strawberries and blueberries);
· Sweets inspired by everyday life from the Brothers Karamazov;
· Pavlova meringue, symbolizing the character of Prince Myshkin;
· Unbutton the salmon, which becomes the logical epilogue of the entire ceremony.

“History is an emotion.” You can make sure of this and taste St. Petersburg at the Nove bar all summer.
